Genni Selby studied Classical Animation at the world renowned school of Animation, Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario. After graduation, Genni worked for Toronto’s Nelvana, one of North America’s largest and best known animation studios, for close to twenty five years.
During those years Genni worked in both Layout and Storyboarding on many well known and much loved children’s animated series for television. After retiring from the animation industry in 2014, Genni returned to Fine Art and began painting full time; much of her work is inspired by the local environment and rural themes of her home in Caledon, Ontario. Her love of realism and particularly horses as her subjects inspires the work that she does today.
