Alicia Kearns Abstract Artist

I am a Senior Print Production Designer based in Orangeville, Canada, working remotely for a printing company in Mississauga. I have over 25 years of experience in advertising agencies and marketing departments for some of Canada's leading retailers. My lifelong hobby and passion is for art and painting. Over the years it has led me to explore various styles, culminating in a focus on abstract painting since 2023.

My abstract paintings are inspired by scenic hiking trails and parks of Dufferin County, such as the Island Lake Conservation area and Mono Cliffs park. My artwork captures the essence of these natural landscapes through vibrant textures, expressive shapes and dynamic colour palettes. Drawing from my graphic design background, I emphasize composition, focal points, negative space and depth in each piece. My creative process begins with conceptual thumbnails, which evolve into bold, evocative works that reflect both nature and artistic precision.
